In what is being seen as a major step in retooling classroom learning, Cuttington University in recent time has mounted modern smartboards in classrooms throughout its three campuses: the Undergraduate at Suakoko, the Junior College at Kakata, and the Graduate School at Monrovia. This development underscores the institution’s commitment to delivering innovative and technological learning experience for all students.

In contrast to conventional lectures, smartboards enable interactive teaching that helps captivate student interest and drive motivation to learn. If students are provided with these modern tools, their participation with the instructional material can improve greatly, as well as the overall learning experience. Smartboards make traditional lectures more engaging and they capture the enthusiasm and interest of learners towards their subject matter.
Moreover, it fosters student participation by enabling them to help each other solve challenges; work together on projects, or share ideas for technological spaces. There are expectations that the application of smartboards will bring tremendous advancement in instructional delivery at the University.
With the installation of those smartboards in classrooms, effective learning would be enhanced and that would also support the University’s drive for innovation and technology for all students across CU’s three campuses. Additionally, the Administration of Cuttington University has assured students that the installation of Smartboards is just one facet of the University’s mission to seamlessly weave technology throughout every sector of the University.
In order to maximize the learning experience for its students, the University plans to invest in improving the infrastructure of the University that would facility digital/online learning.
It is also worth mentioning that the University has invested heavily in changing all blackboards to whiteboards.
