Bishop Doyle’s visit comes after his generous $3,000 donation aimed towards providing textbooks to the College of Allied Health Science Department, through the University’s Alumni Association in the Americas.

Bishop Doyle whose visit to Liberia was as a result of an invitation extended by the Bishop of the Episcopal Church of Liberia, Bishop James Bombo Sellee to attend the church’s Bi-Annual Convention, held in the City of Buchanan, Grand Bassa County. His prompt decision left an impression that shows how deeply he feels about the University and its objectives.
During his visit, Bishop Doyle had the time to tour the University’s major facilities and infrastructure. The visit also served as an opportunity to have some conversations with the University Administration regarding the challenges and achievements.
In a dialogue with Dr. Romelle A. Horton, President of Cuttington University, Dr. Horton conveyed her profound gratitude to the visiting Bishop for his generous donation. She also underscored the pivotal role the donation played in enabling the University's Nursing and Physician Assistant Department to achieve the top ranking from the recently held National Accreditation Evaluation process.
The visit highlights the significance of global collaboration in assisting higher education in Liberia, as well as his significant contribution to an Institution like Cuttington University.
